Outsiders Find Acceptance

Would Jesus fit into your church since with him outsiders found acceptance?

It’s a reasonable question to ask especially as you begin to ask yourself who it is you consider to be outside the lines of acceptability. How often has there been a tension and have people been categorized in terms of "us" and "them" over racial differences? How often has there been a tension and do people get pigeon-holed over political views or doctrinal issues or moral issues or economic status? Who are the “them” in your life or our community or world? Who is so different?  Who is it you could never accept as a neighbor?

Would Jesus fit into your church? Only if you are ready for someone who always transcends racial, political, doctrinal, moral and economic differences.
